LakeWood Care Center is a Medicare-certified skilled nursing facility, based on the principles of Eden Alternative.
Enjoy the friendly environment comprised of staff, fish, birds, plants, and cats. Family styled celebrations include monthly potlucks with family and staff, and other treats such as birthday cakes and fresh baked cookies or apple pies.
A Men’s Group has formed between the staff and residents. They get together over coffee, and even have special guests join them.
Outings to area businesses and restaurants, such as the McDonald’s for ice cream cones, are regular activities.
