Foundation Mission

The mission of LakeWood Regional Healthcare Foundation is (1) to raise funds needed for the continued improvement of the services and facilities of LakeWood Health Center and its various components, (2) to encourage and promote the health and wellness of the people living within Baudette, Lake of the Woods County, and the surrounding communities served by LakeWood Health Center, through the funding of physician recruitment, educational programs and materials, community outreach programs, student scholarships, and a variety of other programs, and (3) to help, in general, to assure the continued availability of accessible, affordable, high quality and diverse health care services for all residents and visitors in the Lake of the Woods Region of Minnesota.
